WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY HERE IN CROWDER, OKLAHOMA, ON A MID JULY SUMMER.

LAST YEAR IT WAS HOT AND DRY, THIS YEAR WE HAVE HAD ABOUT AN INCH OF RAIN, AND TODAY IT IS RAINING ALL AROUND US, THAT IS IN THE LOOKS OF THE SKY. THE GRASS IS GROWING FASTER THAN I CAN MOW MY LAWN. HOWEVER MY GARDEN IS DOING VERY WELL. TODAY I PICKED A TOMATOE THAT WEIGHED OVER A POUND. AND THE VINES ARE FULL OF GREEN ONES. I ALSO PICKED A CANTELOPE AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. EVERY TUESDAY I TAKE A LARGE PAN OF VEGETABLES FOR THE CROWDER SENIOR CITIZENS TO USE. THIS YEAR IS ELECTION YEAR FOR OUR MEMBERS IN STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICES.

I GAVE PERMISSION FOR SOME TO PUT SIGNS IN MY DRIVEWAY, IMAGINE USING THIS SPACE IN TALL TEMBERS TO ADVERTISE. TODAY FOR MASS AND DINNER, WE HAD OUR GRAND DAUGHTER AND HER SON FOR A VISIT FROM OKLAHOMA CITY, LEE AND DONNA TUNSTALL, DAUGHTER AND GRANDSON.

MARJORIE, WE WILL BE GOING TO THE ANNUAL AEP, DINNER IN TULSA, IN SEPTEMBER, HOWEVER FATHER JIM WILL BE IN JAPAN, SO HE WILL MISS THIS AFFAIR.

GARY DIANNE AND FAMILY, SINCE MOM'S BIRTHDAY IS THIS THURSDAY, WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER PARTY WHEN YOU COME FOR YOUR NEXT VISIT.

MIKE AND CATHRINE, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ANOTHER, FIVE BROTHERS GET TOGATHER NEXT YEAR. SINCE PAUL IS VISITING YOU IN TEXAS THIS MONTH, MAYBE HE CAN MAKE ANOTHER TRIP NEXT YEAR.

NOT MUCH NEWS FROM HERE, BUT WE WANT TO SAY HI-! TO ALL OUR E-MAIL RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. WE ARE DOING OK AND KEEPING BUSY EVERY DAY THIS SUMMER.

MAY GOD BLESS ALL,  DAD AND MOM

LAST NITE WE SAW A LARGE STORM APROACHING FROM THE SOUTH, I GUESS IT
WAS SOME OF THE TEXAS STORMS, WE HAD LOTS OF THUNDER AND LIGHTENING,
BUT VERY LITTLE RAIN. I LIKE LOTS OF RAIN THIS TIME OF THE YEAR, AS
IT WAS HOT AND DRY LAST SUMMER. HOWEVER WE STILL HAVE PLENTY OF
MOISTURE FOR THE GARDEN. I FIXED DINNER TODAY, AND ALMOST ALL THE
DINNER WAS FROM MY GARDEN. WE HAD A NICE FORTH OF JULY CELEBRATION,
WITH GARY AND FAMILY HERE FOR A FEW DAYS. THE FIRE WORKS AT THE
EXPO-CENTER WAS VERY GOOD AND LASTED LONG ENOUGH, I WAS GETTING A
SORE NECK, LOOKING UP ANYWAY. LAST NIGHT A MASS AT ST. JOHNS, I TOOK
A LARGE BASKET OF VEGETABLES, FOR THE PASTOR AND ASSISTANT. THE
REALLY ENJOY FRESH FOODS.

GARY, DIANNE AND FAMILY, WE ENJOYED HAVING YOU HERE FOR THE FORTH.
YOUR TWO GIRLS ARE GROWING UP AND WILL BE GONE BEFORE YOU WOULD LIKE
FOR THEM TO LEAVE THE NEST.

MIKE AND CATHRINE, WE HOPE YOU HAVE NOT WASHED AWAY IN THIS BIG
FLOOD IN YOUR PART OF TEXAS. LAST NIGHT WE WATCHED TV AND SAW MANY
LARGE HOUSES FLOATING DOWN THE RIVER.

DOUG AND RAMONA, AND FAMILY, YOU HAVE FOREST FIRES AND MIKE HAS
FLOODS.
DOES THIS TELL US ,OUR COUNTRY IS NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING.

JOHN, BEA AND FAMILY, HOPE YOU PEOPLE ARE DOING FINE AND NOT HAVING A
FLOOD OR FOREST FIRE. AND THE VIDALIA ONIONS ARE GOOD THIS YEAR.

THAT IS ABOUT ALL THE NEWS FROM GREEN COUNTRY, AND WILL SEE YOU
NEXT WEEK. MAY GOD BLESS ALL, DAD AND MOM

IT IS NOW AFTER TEN O'CLOCK, AND I AM WRITING MY E-MAIL, THE REASON
IS LATE THIS AFTERNOON, OUR CARPET INSTALLERS, CAME BY TO COMPLETE
THE JOB, THEY STARTED SEVERAL DAYS AGO. ONE JOB THEY HAD TO DO
WAS TO REPAIR A HOLE IN THE CEILING OF THE DINING ROOM, THEY
INADVERTENTLY LET A POLE RAM THE CEILING, WHILE TAKING DOWN SOME
DECORATIVE SCREENS. ANYWAY THEY FINISHED THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
TO MOVE EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR TO LAY THE NEW CARPET, IS A
GREAT TASK, ESPECIALLY AFTER LIVING IN THE HOUSE FOR THIRTY TWO
YEARS.

TODAY HAS BEEN A NICE DAY HERE IN CROWDER, WE HAD A LIGHT SHOWER THIS
MORNING, AND IT HAS BEEN CLOUDY ALL DAY.

MARJORIE, THANKS FOR THE MENTION OF LORETTA'S BIRTHDAY, I WILL SEND
HER A CARD.

GARY, DIANE AND FAMILY, YES IT WILL BE FINE FOR YOUR FAMILY TO COME
OVER FOR THE 4TH OF JULY. JUST THINK CROWDER IS PLANNING TO SHOOT
FIREWORKS. THEY SHOULD BE VERY CAREFUL OR THEY MIGHT BLOW THE TOWN
OFF THE MAP.

TO THE REST OF MY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS, WE WISH YOU A HAPPY 4TH OF
JULY. AND THOSE IN JAPAN, A HAPPY JULY.

SINCE IT IS SO LATE I WILL CLOSE UNTIL NEXT SUNDAY,

MAY GOD BLESS ALL
DAD AND MOM

JOHN BEA AND FAMILY, WE RECEIVED YOUR GIFTS CHRISTMAS EVE AND WE WERE DELIGHTED
WITH ALL NICE THINGS YOU SENT. WE MIGHT HAVE TO USE THE PROPANE HEATER, IF THE
WEATHER CONTINUES TO BE COLD. YES I HAD A FIVE GALLON TANK FULL FROM LAST
WINTER'S ICE STORM, SO IT MAY BE PUT TO GOOD USE.

IBM AND HAS FOR MANY YEARS. IF YOU LIKE, WHEN YOU ARE IN DENVER, YOU MIGHT GIVE
THEM A CALL. LISTED AS DOUG CONLY-PHONE-1-303-499-2463

MIKE AND CATHRINE, THINGS IN TEXAS MUST BE GOING WELL, AS WE LEARN FROM OTHERS
IN THE E-MAIL, YOU KEEP ALL POSTED. THATS VERY GOOD.

FRAN AND STEVE, FATHER JIM HAS BEEN BUSY CUTTING SMALL TREES ON HIS LOTS BELOW HIS HOUSE, HE SAID HE NEEDS LOTS OF WORK TO KEEP HIM IN SHAPE.

today is a little different than usual , doug and ramona conly, for those who are not acquainted with our family, they are our  oldest daughter and her husband from boulder colorado.  they drove in our place last evening from there home.  they will be here until friday and then leave for huston ,texas. we have enjoyed there visit here very much, since it has been over a year since we have seen them.  this has been a nice warm sunny day, and we have been sitting  and talking  to each other on our front porch and watching our two stray total black cats play and  entertain us with there antics. this is really a fall day as the leaves from the trees rain down in a steady stream.  we had fresh tomatoes and cucumbers for todays dinner, from our garden.  the tomatoe vines are loaded with large green tomatoes and we can pick cucumbers almost every day.

gary, dianne and family,  we will be looking for your visit this coming weekend.  maybe the weather will be nice then as it is now..

john, bea and family, i received your e-mail last  week, john, and was proud of your words to describe  me, i hope i can live all the days of my life, and you can still say the same things. we know you will enjoy having your family and  relatives for thanksgiving celebration

fran and steve, father jim  has been using his mulching lawn mower, to grind up the leaves in his yard.  its a quick way to get rid of the leaves and is good for the lawn. if you have a leaves problem you might solve it that way.,  my brown turkey fig bush is about to grow out of the rock  bed.  it is as green as if it was spring.  it has lots of figs setting on the limbs, but if we have a frost that will do it in.

mike and catherine, we hope you had a nice birthday celebration. after all fifty years is a good place to start on the next round .

royoko, how is everything in the far away land?  i will ask father jim if you people celebrate thanksgiving, there as we do in this country.. he is enjoying his retirement here very  well, and has a
lot of energy to do the things he kikes to do.

david, your dad just let me know, he wants a word with you:

we received a light rain this morning and the leaves became to fall from the trees, just like it does every fall.  the forest has changed it colors and the brown and dry leaves are showing up.  we have lots of big pine trees around the place, and they are a bright green this time of the year, and makes you think of spring.  donna and lee came over for sunday mass and dinner, after dinner donna asked mom and me if we wanted to go for a drive in the country,i said i wanted to write e-mail, so donna and mom took a drive to eufaula and back,  it is good for mom to get outside and get some nice views and fresh air.  father jim and i have been fixing up a new flower garden south of our house overlooking the lake, and can be seen from our large picture window on the south side of the house.  we both are looking for things to do to keep in good  shape before the winter sets in and we have to sit indoors and look out the windows.

mike, and cathrine, happy birthday mike, and i know you will enjoy the party, we will just have to imagine we are there as we cannot travel, but appreciate the invite.

gary, dianne and family, since you have so many commitments, you can come anytime and we will enjoy your visit.

john, bea and family,  with so many relatives you will not be  without plenty of visitors and children at this time of the year.

doug, ramona and family, first ,ramona we wish you a very happy birthday one we should not miss as it always comes on  trick or treat night .  we are also looking for your visit here in a few days.

fran, it was good to see you and all your friends here in crowder,  with all the  strong winds from the south, it will keep you busy raking leaves and mulching your plants. i have already hauled from mcalester, one load of sack leaves from a friends house, to put on my fig trees. he will give me two pickup loads this fall.

tara fuente, and family, we enjoyed hearing from you and put your e-mail address in our computer, so you should hear from us often,  we know robert and louise is very proud of your children.

that is about all the news from warm country and lake eufaula, will see you next week, MAY GOD BLESS ALL. DAD AND MOM

HEALTH. YESTERDAY, FATHER JIM HAD HIS HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS  VISIT  HIS HOUSE HERE ON THE LAKE, THEY ALSO HAD DINNER AT AN ITILIAN  RESTAURANT IN KREBS. THEY ENJOYED THE VISIT AND COULD SEE THE FOILAGE AND THE LAKE.
